I draw still lifes and abstracts regularly, but feel the need to work on my figure drawing skills too. The human form is always interesting, both to draw and to look at in art. This 20 minute sketching endeavor aimed to get some different gestures and facial expressions down quickly. I like how this turned out to resemble a gathering of somewhat mischievous sprites that moved too fast for me to capture them in my sketch. Pen, 5" x 7".
