Our Daily Bread

There's nothing like a fresh loaf of homemade bread, warm from the oven. The smell is heavenly too!  We have homemade bread pretty often, which is so wonderful. Even so, I had never thought to paint it before now, especially in the 20 minute time restraint. The crusty outside has nice warm yellow and brown tones that I think I've captured nicely here. Watercolor and water-soluble crayon, 5 1/2" x 8".
