Mmm... Doughnut

More than painting this in a 20 minute timeframe, I think the real challenge here was not eating this doughnut before the painting was done. Genuine from-scratch doughnuts are so exceptionally delicious, even though they may be hard to come by these days. We are lucky to have a mom-n-pop store a short drive away that makes them fresh and homemade. There is just no comparison to those chain-store "donuts".  Maybe I'll go back to painting healthy food like fruit and veggies soon, but junk food can be more fun since it's full of whimsy.
