A Quick Snack

Mmm, pretzel rods, done in 20 minutes (then I could eat them). Pencil, watercolor and a little tiny bit of water soluble pencil, on watercolor sketchbook paper, 5 1/2" x 8". With more time I would go in with a little bit of white gouache or acrylic to indicate the salt on top, but with more time I probably wouldn't pick this as a subject - I would eat these as I painted something else! A fun way to try out a new sketchbook and a new paintbrush, though.
