Ripe Pear

The pears we picked up from a farmstand the other day are just slightly overripe, but that makes them just slightly more interesting to paint, too. Love the combination of yellow and green here, contrasted with the warm browns of the "ripe spots." They are very tasty, perfect early fall pears.

The lack of 20 minute sketches for the past few days owes directly to other art projects I've been working on (which I am very excited about!) as well as a generally busy schedule. Sometimes I think the 20 minute challenge is just finding 20 minutes to do it!
