Tempus fugit

My, how time flies when having fun sketching. This 20 min. sketch was done in pen on medium weight ecru sketch paper, approx. 4" x 6". I love this art deco style clock for many reasons, but it never occurred to me to draw it before. As it was a neat date today (1/11/11), drawing a clock seems to fit with a representation of time.

I don't think I have a single straight line in this sketch, and the numbers look like they are trying to move around of their own accord, but I was trying to do it nicely. Drawing a linear object while standing up, and not being able to erase... oh well, it gives me good practice for sketching architecture en plein air, right?
